Catamount est une station géniale pour la région ! Son domaine skiable est très varié, allant d'une longue piste verte descendant la crête jusqu'à des pistes noires double vraiment raides. Je lui ai attribué 3 étoiles pour la qualité de son domaine « tout-terrain » car l'enneigement artificiel y est souvent insuffisant pour profiter pleinement du hors-piste. Cependant, quand la neige est au rendez-vous, le terrain est excellent. La même note pour l'après-ski s'explique par le fait que l'ambiance y est moins animée que dans certaines autres stations, mais on y trouve deux bars sympas, des concerts le week-end et une superbe terrasse extérieure avec des braseros. J'ai vu quelques plaintes concernant les prix et l'attente, mais je pense qu'elles sont totalement infondées. Les forfaits et les abonnements sont parmi les plus abordables du coin, et l'attente est généralement très raisonnable et bien plus courte que dans d'autres stations. Il arrive parfois qu'il y ait un peu plus d'attente pour les billets ou la location de matériel les week-ends d'affluence, mais c'est le lot de toutes les stations de ski. De plus, la station s'efforce chaque année d'améliorer ses infrastructures : bâtiments, remontées mécaniques, enneigement artificiel, snowpark, etc. Globalement, une excellente montagne, idéale pour les familles, des gens sympathiques, un terrain amusant, un bon enneigement artificiel et des prix intéressants !

Je vais à Catamount presque chaque année depuis l'âge de 2 ans. J'ai grandi ici et j'adore ce terrain. Il y a beaucoup de belles pistes vertes, ainsi que des bleues faciles et des bleues difficiles. Par contre, il n'y a pas beaucoup de noires, et celles qui sont noires sont en fait des bleues difficiles. 8/10

Catamount is a good local mountain but they raised their prices. Week day and half day tickets doubled in price compared to last year. Snow making and grooming has declined and can’t compare to where it was in the past. They are definitely experiencing operational issues this season.

I have enjoyed coming here for many years. Easy parking, fair pricing, and on weekdays, is like having the mountain to yourself. I have only two critiques: First, the website and purchasing format, is awful. Too many confusing and unnecessary steps to make a reservation. Second, the lifts are painfully slow. On COLD and windy days, it feels like an eternity up in those chairs. When Catamount was taken over by new ownership, they immediately put a lot of money and effort into its redevelopment. I was hoping that high speed lifts were among the investments! That said, the grooming and trail diversity alone, makes it worth the trip...

I came to Catamount in January 2017 for a quick day of skiing. The area has had no snow at all, but the snowmaking was decent. Conditions aside, the skiing is quite good. However, the facilities are in serious need of updating. The facilities are extremely old and outdated. The main "lodge," and I hesitate to call it that, had 3 toilets in the main restroom, with old, creaky doors that barely worked. The cafeteria was very small, did not have anywhere near enough seating, and again just very outdated. It's fine for a quick ski day, but don't expect much. I will not be returning.
I am a good expert skier, skied all my life and this mtn is good enough for a quick getaway for making turns. Its not Vail but it has a few decent trails to make tracks on. Bumps form on some of the trails if thats your deal, but there are some nice longish runs to make some nice GS turns too. Go Play!

overall i really enjoy this mountain. its small, but very cheap. offers great night skiing. great for skiers or snowboarders just starting out. overall well maintained.
