We had a fabulous mid-week ski trip. The snow conditions were excellent. The lift lines were short to non-existent. Mask requirements were annoying.... Avis complet

Love this hill. There is so much skiable terrain that you can "find" if you keep looking! Yes, there are only a few lifts, but they are well-placed and fewer lifts means that things don't get skied out as quickly! I've had some of my best ski days here, and I've been skiing here since Day 1.... Avis complet

I don't understand what all the hype is about. Only the top 1/3 of the mountain is skiable. There are only 2 lifts & you need to ski all the way to bottom to get the vertical. Once you ski below the top of the gondola the snow quality is poor due to low base elevation.. I got bored after skiing here 2 days. Really only 1000 of the advertised 3000 is skiable due to the lack of lifts. If you want to lift, cat, heli ski & backcountry I guess it would be ok. If you want to do backcountry, Revelstoke would get a great place. I came here once but would not come back. I would rather go to Whistler or Banff due to a much better lift network & infrastructure. I'm used to skiing Utah, Aspen, Whistler & other places with lots of lifts & infrastructure. Revelstoke is too underdeveloped for my standards.... Avis complet

Skied Revelstoke for 4 days last week. Temps were in high 30's (F) so there was rain at bottom of mt but snow at top. Great steeps and LOVED the trees, especially when it was snowing and visibility was poor. Eat before hitting the mt. Only options for food once you leave base is Outpost and seating is limited. At base, several good eats. Favorite was La Baguette for breakfast croissant and latte!. Will return. Drive from Calgary was not bad but was helped out by favorable weather so I did not get Revelstuck... ... Avis complet

No matter where I search on the web I can't find the elevation of the "mid mountain village". Below this point, the place is barely skiable with only a couple steep catwalk style runs to the base...but for sure that lower 1000+ feet can't be counted as decent vertical. Nobody skis down there until they are done for the day, and many ride the gondola down. I have been 3 times and always there have been whiteout fog layers that make skiing difficult. The best skiing is the top 2000' on a quad chair usually with pretty long lines. ... Avis complet

This is the greatest mountain in North America. All natural snow, impeccable grooming of not just beginner and intermediate runs but also expert runs. So long, burning leg long. No line ups and reasonably priced compared to Whistler as an example. You can get discounted tickets at CostCo. Nice and lively bar at the bottom hotel and great rental service. We were a group of 12 renting a cottage converted into a rental very close to the hill. Unfortunately ski in ski out/hotel at base are all very expensive. All 12 loved the mountain and will return.... Avis complet

Stayed in Revelstoke for 2 days and got some fresh snow on day 2. The woods skier’s right of The Ripper were awesome. Great terrain overall. The bottom quarter of the mountain kinda made me feel like I was back on the East Coast, but I suppose you only need to ride that terrain for your last run of the day so no complaints haha! ... Revelstoke is an awesome mountain. It is unreal with the right conditions. I was lucky and the mountain got pounded with snow when we were there. With no crowds and sick lines that are different each time my legs were the only thing keeping me from skiing till closing. (and the sketchy run beneath Gondola. Heads up NO signs indicating upcoming danger on it. Don't leave to the last run of the day...) Base gondola has a long line on powder days but clears up at the top. It is the only way up. An easy way to check on powder i peeping the gnome cam and hope his belly is covered. The town has a ski/snowboard charm to it, everyone there seems to be a hardcore skier. a lot of good coffee and food places. All rental stores are also equipped with legit powder skis which you will need if you don't own a pair... Avis complet

My favorite resort in North America over Whistler, Taos and Salt Lake Utah. So much skiable terrain with plenty of powder and great expert runs. While it is a little hard to reach by air, it's well worth it. We fly into Kelown and it's a 2 to 2.5 hour drive. We found an amazing B&B (The Starling House https://www.airbnb.ca/rooms/16243664) Their breakfasts are legendary and don't forget to ask for Warren's maple bacon. Gary is an expert skier who has skied the mountain for over 35 years and you might even convince him to tour the mountain with you. ... Avis complet

The hill is a great for powder skiing. If you enjoy earning your turns. You need to hike to most of the good stuff. The lower half of the hill is pretty much unusable. Because it’s either raining or it is frozen rain so it’s ice at the bottom. this is a back country ski resort bring your pecans and your shovels you’re going to need them. ... Avis complet
