Main lift (Lift 1 on Barker Mountain) breaks down constantly. It even stranded people (including me) on it for 52 minutes. It had broken down 5 times in 6 days. I have never seen another high-speed lift that is that slow, never mind breaks down all the time. They should be ashamed that they put people on that machine.... Avis complet

Skied 12/30/19 , 12/31 - 5-6” of snow each day. Made for tough skiing. Visibility very poor. But, on Jan 1 groomers smoothed out all those unwelcome bumps and conditions were great!... Avis complet

The wind was strong an lifts were limited which is completely reasonable; however, they had only 2 lifts open with no services at the only non bunny hill lift. We had to leave and drive to another base lodge for food and drink. They simply gave their staff the day off and said screw the customers. They won't even discuss a refund. Go to the Loaf... I really loved my time at Sunday River. I took a beginner lesson and the instructors were very friendly and I learned very quickly. The skiing and snowboarding areas can get a bit crowded. When you are on the lift, the views are breathtaking. Overall, I would definitely go again and I recommend you should too.... Avis complet
We had a great day at Sunday rive, BUT the ski rental was very poor! We paid (a lot) for skis, poles, boots and even had to pay extra for helmet. All equipment was worn, old and not washed since the last person used it. They ran out of poles (I had to use kids' poles, but still paid full price) and helmets (I got a slightly broken one). Boots were very dirty and worn. The line was huge - which is understandable, it was a busy day - but the real problem was the (lack of) quality of equipment and the fact that they ran out. They should have cut down on price to apologize for these flaws.... Avis complet
I have been a pass holder and “frequent skier” for decades. I have been getting 60+ visits per season since I retired a few years back and compliment the operations people and also the good folks at the restaurants and bars. Top notch trail maintenance and enough lifts to move lines efficiently even during school vacation and long holiday weekends!
My gripe? I visited the ski shop at South Ridge to demo skis with the expectation of buying. I was treated with disrespect and rudeness by one of the guys at the shop counter- if I was his boss and saw his curt and dismissive behavior, I would have reprimanded him. This had to do with the reality that if I found a pair I liked, they might not be in inventory- I comprehended this but the guy was truly offensive. I waited a day and went back to try another staffer, this time a woman, who was cordial, knowledgeable and very helpful- I tried several pairs and selected a pair to buy- they were indeed sold out but the helpful woman after some effort located my choice which were in stock at a sister shop and ordered them. Went to the shop yesterday, had to deal with the original guy, and was treated curtly and shabbily again, embarrassing another customer and angering me- seems the skis were sold, which is my tough luck and I guess nobody’s fault, but the guy was snappish and acknowledged they knew my skis were gone some days before my visit- I asked if they were going to tell me and his response was inadequate. If I was his boss, and had reprimanded him before, and saw his antics yesterday, he’d be filing for unemployment on Monday.... Avis complet
