I live two miles away from the resort and have been skiing here for over forty years. I remember the days when Boyne was king (when Everett Kircher was alive). Boyne used to groom the whole mountain every night. The snowmaking and grooming were impeccable. No more! We kept looking for a decent run and never found one. My friends have been driving from Boyne City to Boyne Highlands or Nubs Nob to ski and drive right by Boyne Mountain on their way. I used to prefer the Mountain, I will join them on their 45 minute drive to Highlands from now on. The Mountain is more about real estate now, skiing is an afterthought. Also a lift attendant on the 6 place high speed was hard core on masks, literally yelling at people to pull their masks up. Not courteous at all. I guess this was his chance to show his immense power! Keep driving, better skiing is up the road....... Avis complet

Very disappointed and upset about the lack of safety and security at this expensive ski resort. We had two new snowboards stolen from right outside our rentals front door. Guest services gave nothing but the run around about our situation. Security is practically non existant. No one knows the policy about theft for this resort. There are no lockers for locking up your ski equipment. There are no signs saying to use the caddy’s at your own risk. I have never had a theft of equipment before. We have skied at multiple resorts. Every rental here uses their outside ski caddy for storing their skis/boards over night, as we did, and then this theft happens, and no one at the resort has concern for our situation. ... I just want to relay some compliments regarding some of the Boyne Mountain service staff. We skied at the Mountain last Friday, March 1st, 2019. We experienced some great customer service to resolve an issue. My positive feedback would like to reward Joelle, Devin, and Abby at the ski school counter for a job well done. We had a great day of skiing due mainly to these individuals.... Avis complet

Staff and service great! Staff at Everetts especially considetate and kind, go out of way to please, very happy. Front desk and bell staff also very willing to please and attentive. Room was good and room service prompt. Housekeeping also quick. Of course the skiing is good. Teaching staff very good with kids, mine loved the tescher & the lessons. Runs make it best in Michigan, have to outside state for more challenge so this is just right for 3-4 hour ride from Detroit area.... Avis complet

Came on a family trip with ages 5-66. We had beginner skiers and intermediate. The beginners took lessons and we were very impressed with the quality of instruction. All employees were very friendly and helpful. Ski conditions were very good especially considering that snowfall had not been great prior to our arrival. ... Avis complet

My family has owned a home at Boyne for 35 years and centered life around ski racing through 2 generations. Boyne has been part of our family since it opened in the late 1940s. My Mother and Uncle represented Boyne as ski racers, one of them all the way to international level. As of 2019, now brining grandchildren here, this is likely the last effort to we as a family would make as Boyne customers. The management is totally unprepared to handle holiday crowds. For a simple ski rental for a 5-year-old we are now in the second of 45+ minute lines, solely for one pair of skis. Boyne is charging rates for lift tickets that we pay to ski at major resorts in Colorado, Nevada, Vermont and California. Asking customers to wait for nearly 2 hours to rent one pair of skis, no boots, no poles, while charging premium prices for lift tickets that cannot be used for their full timeframe is unacceptable. To add to the poor service, is the fact that there is no elevator for people in ski boots to carry their children or walk with people who are elderly downstairs to rent equipment. ... Avis complet

I guess its ok for lower Michigan but that is not high praise. Nice base village area. The skiing is probably much more fun here for beginners and intermediates. There is nothing very exciting for experts. Also i think its cheesy how they tried to make it seem like there are more runs by giving some multiple names. Example is north mclouth, center mclouth, and south mclouth. 3 names on the trail map but its basically 1 run. Lift ticket prices are insane for what you get. It's priced as though it's a large western resort but its still just a little midwestern hill.... Avis complet

Honestly don't waste your money, go to Caberfae for less than half the price :) and get the same vertical (actually better). You PAY for everything here... and big time. Expect 85 to 95 dollar day lift ticket prices. The skiing is fine.... Avis complet

If you're looking for terrain parks, they've got seven - with Ramshead (their largest park) holding a wide variety of well-built and well-maintained features. If you're a beginner, they offer a free magic carpet next to their green hills that are long and wide - giving you plenty of space to learn (plus, their ski school has some phenomenal teachers.) If you're looking for a challenge, the entire front face, serviced by a high-speed 6-man lift, is chock-full of vertical with spectacular views to boot. If you're not a skier, there's no shortage of other activities around property - ziplining (even in the winter), beautiful pools and hot tubs, horseback riding, ice skating, a spa, Michigan's largest indoor waterpark, great restaurants and bars. If you're a partier, the Snowflake Lounge is always a good time, and their Carnival Weekend is crazy fun. If you're a young family looking to for a relaxing weekend up north, this might just become your next family tradition where a lifetime of memories will take place. Boyne Mountain truly offers something for everyone.... Avis complet

Absolutely the best vacation I take all year. If I were given a choice of any vacation I would take. This is it. Love the atmosphere the village. Just hanging out here is the most fun I can have. Staff is great. They see a ton of people but make you feel like they know and remember you every time we are there ... Avis complet
