Only go there if you really enjoy the true love of skiing and all the reasons we love being outdoor. No fur coats here. Just great skiing and freindly people. Great pub with good food and cold beer. No crowds to fight and tubing if you a little change if pace... Avis complet

A fantastic job is being done in bringing back this classic mountain. Tenney is a pure classic New England skiing. Great trails and great conditions. The staff is very friendly and the entire experience was great. ... Avis complet

Tenney Mountain is a ski resort made for everyone. You can ski steep and narrow trails that can test the advanced skier. Also, Tenney is a great place to learn, the ski and snowboard school is very good. There is a lift of about 800 vertical feet that serves some good beginer and intermediate trails, there is even a small black diamond so intermediates and beginers can get a small taste of steep terrain. The glades at Tenney are some of the best in the east. The glades are skied by very few people since most of the people that ski tenney are beginners or intermediates. You can get fresh lines all day in the trees and on the blacks. Fresh powder can last for the whole week. However, I recommend to only go there if there are pp or pdr conditions, since their grooming and snowmaking are not good. The other drawback is the slow double lift, but it takes less time to not wait in line at tenney and ride up on a slow lift than it is to wait in long lines and go up a highspeed quad/ gondola at busier places. During a snowy season I would rather be skiing Tenney than any other mountain in new england (except cannon on a few occasions).... Avis complet

Tenney is a very laid back mountain near the much trendier and more crowded Loon and Waterville Valley. Going to Tenney is like stepping into a time machine and coming out in 1970. Old lifts and a very basic lodge serve the mountain. The low key nature seems to keep the crowds away. This is definitely a family'/local mountain. The laid back appearance hides great terrain. Tons of fun and a great mix of intermediate to advanced trails. If you love classic New England skiing without the unnecessary flash of the big resorts you will like it. As other reviewers have said only go when snow conditions are good. The mountain has limited snowmaking.... Avis complet

If you are an advanced intermediate to expert skier,( beginners need not apply) Tenney is the place to try your skiing ability after you have traveled to the smaller mountains in NY, CT and MA. Tenney has some great terrain on the top of the mountain via a double chair lift. As advertised , the trails and mountain are not crowded. We found the trails to be narrow and challenging. Fellow Skiers and Mountain staff are friendly which give this mountain some real appeal. Worth a ride up from Mass and Conn .. Check the snow conditions first, as there is limited snow making capability reducing the number of trails available ... Avis complet

We're a family of four that loves 10e. It's easy to unload the gear and get ready without lots of walking or crowds of people. There are never lift lines. There are many times you ski an entire run without seeing anyone else. The skiing is a good mix of intermediate to advanced skiing with some excellent glades runs. They groom the easier trails but leave more advanced ones alone to enjoy powder and bumps, unlike some other places that insist on paving everything! It's mostly a family crowd with lots of brown-bagging families in a small, but roomy, lodge. Unlike more crowded places, you don't have to fight for a place to sit. Even though it's "family," there are some very good skiers and riders and good terrain. At the end of the day, it's a quick getaway - usually less than 10 minutes from the end of the last run until we're driving away. ... Avis complet

I agree with all the previous reviews. Just had a great first day at 10e. The mountain was a pleasant surprise. Everyone we spoke with was great and had a huge smile when we told them it was our first day. Do not be fooled or lulled into thinking that this is a light weight challenge. There is only one green on the main mountain. The blues and blacks, compared to other mountains are well rated. The trail terrain has bends and curves you would not expect from a smaller hill. The "Forget Me Not" trail is well named. The run we took on this un-groomed trail was the equal and then some to the diamond trails on bigger mountains further up the road. No lines on a Saturday in January. On more than one run, we skied right to the load line without stopping. There are only two lifts, but they provide more than adequate access to the mountain. The snow surface was great. Check it, you will be surprised. But don't tell too many people! ... Avis complet

Tenney Mountain is New Hampshire's best kept secret. Lift lines are almost non-existent. The mountain's conditions are great throughout the day and it rarely gets skied off by the end of the day. The atmosphere is very family oriented. You can get to the mountain by mid-morning and still get in all the runs you want. The terrain is varied and there is something for all ability levels. The price is right too. For value and a great time, you just can't beat Tenney.... Avis complet

I am glad to see Tenny up and running. It has been a slow start and could be better organized. There was much left undone on opening day. The mountain is in great shape and the snow has been good. However, the double is not up and running yet! There is no access to the top of the mountain. Lots of fresh power waiting to be riden. Prices are great. Seasons pass is just $300 for adults and $239 for kids. Hope to see the double running soon and some hot chocolate waiting for me at the summit like old times. If you have family and a limited budget, Tenney Mountain is for you. Great skiing and resonable prices. Wait till the double is open and then give Tenney a try. You won't be disapointed.... Tenney Mountain's strength is that it is not crowded. There is rarely any line at the lifts and if Mother Nature cooperates, it is an awesome Mountain to Ski. In the past, when we have had very little snow, the Crew at Tenney were very wise to only open and maintain what they could. And the trails that were open were very well maintained. I agree that Tenney is the best kept secret in New England. There is absolutely no night life at Tenney but it is surely a family friendly place. ... Avis complet
