I dont know whether it was the awfully built terrain park, the vertical of maybe 200 feet, or maybe it was the fact that it looked like the lift operators were hired off the street, whatever it was this hill was the worst ive ever snowboarded. Previously being at Snowbird, Snowbasin, and Brighton, I dont know what I was thinking coming to this dump. I wasnt expecting steep vertical or anything but at least get a couple good jibs. Their C-box looked like it was about to fall over and the kink was probably out of a dumpster. Being from NJ my home mountains are creek and boulder but even they were better than this Utah hill. If you want to blow 30+ dollars just head right on over to this bad mark on Utah. Utah has the best snow on earth except for this one mountain.... Avis complet

Brought the family to Utah for a ski vacation. My 4 year old ( 1 month from being 5) took a 2 hour ski lesson and was skiing the rest of the day and night + rest of the trip with my wife, while I snowboarded intermitently with them and on my own here and at powder + snowbasin. The lessons and his reponse to skiing blew my expectations out of the water (or should I say snow). He is ready to go again and we just got back. Only complaints were long rental line for him and my wife-(it was New years Eve) and no daycare for my 2 year old daughter. Also the lodge is small, but not an issue if you are not concerned with that (if so go to snowbasin --they also have child care). All in all Wolf Mountain is perfect for a young family's first day or so while taking lessons and getting the feel of things, since it so cheap and not too spread out. You can keep track of one another easily. Very few, but exhillirating short black and blue runs for me to warm up on while my son was taking lessons, but great for the first day and for the price. snow conditions are great (still Utah). If they get child care this place would be the perfect family mountain.... Avis complet

We enjoyed two nights of skiing at Wolf with family while in for the Christmas Holiday. It's convenient and close to Ogden and the price is right. We skiid both times for $60 covering all 6 of us! The conditions were maintained well, even though the terrain is limited. It's a great outing for beginner and intermediates looking to enjoy 5-6 hours of skiing with a group and the price cannot be beat!... Avis complet

Wolf Creek is usually my 1st stop during my annual ski week. On arrival day, I cannot get on the slopes until the afternoon. Add to this the fact that I just need to knock off the rust, and Wolf Creek is the ideal spot. I can get a cheap lift ticket and ski until 9pm. Good: -Cheap lift tickets -Short lift lines -Convenient and easy to get there. -Family friendly. Lots of bargains on week nights. Bad: -Upper hill is not well lit. Easy to lose your depth perception at night. -Lower elevation than nearby resorts, Snowbasin and Powder Mountain, makes for lower quality snow. -Inadequate grooming -Food is pretty mediocre and selection is limited. -Zero night life anywhere around the resort.... I had an afternoon/evening to kill since my flight got me into SLC just after noon and it took me until around 2 to navigate route 39 to Eden but this was the perfect place to do it especially since the entire area is open until 10PM. The valley doesn't offer much in the way of nightlife but I've alwyas thought that if you're on a ski vacation you should ski not sit around talking about it over drinks. The trails are not particularly steep nor long but they are an excellent way to warm up for the bigger ski areas in the valley (Powder and Snowbasin) and they have the same abundance of powder on them. The best thing was that a ski pass cost me about what lunch at one of the Park City tourist traps costs ($20 - $23) so you can't beat the value. The people were extremely friendly and the lines were moderate but moved quickly. It seemed like a good place for kids and the beginner area was well separated from the rest.... Avis complet

We visited Wolf Mountain on New Year's Eve '07. I was exiting the lift with my young snow-boarding son when he wrecked right off the chair. The chair went right over the top of him, and somehow I got stuck in the wreck, and the chair knocked me over breaking my tailbone. The lift operator never stopped the lift, never asked us if we needed help, or if we were okay. I was unable to get up for a minute there, and other skiers just had to try to exit the lift around me. I thought that was very unprofessional. If I was the sueing type, They'd have a lawsuit on their hands, but I'm not, lucky for them. They probably won't get so lucky next time. That particular lift is very poorly designed, not allowing the skier/boarder to get clear of the lift before it mows you over. The grade isn't steep enough, so you find yourself stuck in the path of the lift on its way around the turn-about, knocking you over. This is the terrain park lift. Beware! There are also not enough bathrooms in the lodge to accomodate the number of skiers. Plus, they decide to clean the two-holer right at lunch time when everyone's needing to use it, making it even more inconvenient!! I've skied at various resorts around the state for 20+ years. I think it's great that Wolf Mountain is low-cost, but I'd just as soon pay a couple extra bucks to have a renovated lodge and lifts designed properly.... Avis complet
