My daughter has been at Sugarbush for the week of 3/29-4/2 and the pricing is too high. She reported that she could go to nearby Stowe for much less for a full weekday ticket. I'm a senior skier and own a condo at Sugarbush, but really don't want to travel to Stowe to ski because of pricing. Also I hate to see my daughter and sons (2) go and stay at Stowe due to lift ticket pricing.... Avis complet
Made a reservation on my phone at Castle Rock restaurant for 3:00 got a confirmation went to the restaurant they didn’t have my reservation then they said that I would have to wait until 4:30! And the place was empty I said forget it! Then I went to reserve a pair of demo skis at the Farmhouse they said they have the skis again have to make a reservation to get the skis so I made it for 8:30 am the next day. And when I got there they said they didn’t even carry the skis I reserved! ... Avis complet

It is with great sadness that I have to write such a negative review of this facility. Our family lives in NJ and our children learned to ski at Sugarbush. Ever since, we have been skiing there each spring yearly for over a decade. In 2019 we were unable to have our family ski trip due to the closing Sugarbush during the Pandemic. We purchased three Quad Passes to prepare for our annual trip. Sugarbush has only extended the use of these passes a few weeks into the 2020-2021 ski season, to be used prior to 12/24/20. It is not feasible for our family of 5 to plan a trip on such short notice. After several e-mails with the manager, Rob, we were informed that they will NOT extend the use of the passes for the entire 2020-2021 ski season. We can certainly use these passes prior to May 2021. Based on the lack of the use through out the entire season, my family will be losing over $1000. Sugarbush did not offer any refund ( full or partial), or no consideration for use past December 24th. We are extremely disappointed in the lack of understanding, deficiency in flexibility and greedy behavior exhibited by this multimillion dollar resort.
We use to rave about this family-friendly facility, now we will certainly let others know about the how cheep and narrow-minded the management is.

Mountain has unfulfilled potential, but currently it is nightmare to ski based on lack of adequate snowmaking and grooming.... Avis complet
This season (2019/'20) my wife and I spent $1269 for our passes. Next year the only comparable pass available to us (Ikon) will cost $2,117. That is a 67% price increase - not coincidental that the 2020/'21 season will be the first under Alterra ownership.
Please don't insult our intelligence by offering the rebuttal that the Ikon roster has all this value. It's a dirty trick to eliminate a Sugarbush-only pass, plain and simple. This is the kind of corporate greed that has no place in Vermont or in our valley. Shame on you.

A true skiers mountain but a tough mountain for beginners. Tons of off piste skiing, lots of ungroomed terrain. There are better mountains for skiers who like groomed easier trails. If you want to become a good skier excellent choice. ... Avis complet
This is my favorite mountain in Vermont. I ski Smuggs, Killington, Stowe, and Jay Peak too but Sugarbush is my favorite. They all have good points but overall i love the Bush the best. ... Avis complet
I skied here recently for two days. Lincoln Peak was fine and all of the lifts were operating. Mt. Ellen is a dump and an embarrassment. The base lodge is small and decrepit. The bathrooms are disgusting. Food choices are limited. Every time I've been to Mt. Ellen key lifts are not operating. Iverness is never running. The lifts between the two areas rarely operates. I can see way they have discount days here as it truly is the poor cousin the Lincoln Peak. Terrain is also more limited. Much work needed ... Avis complet
First time skiing at Sugarbush, and I was surprised by the condition on some of the trails. The traverse connector from Super Bravo lift to Heaven's Gate was a solid ice rink, with no snow on it. There doesn't appear to be any effort of providing some sort of traction to the surface, either. It could be dangerous for inexperienced skiers/riders. To be fair, the mountain is big and has potential, but the lack of investment in snow making capabilities or the effort of providing a good experience for the visitors is really disappointing....
