Brought my two sons for a day trip to learn to ski. Resort was not crowded. Staff was friendly and helpful, resort implemented solid covid protocols. We had a great time and will be coming back with mom and the third son to learn and Dad and other two to make track on the big slopes!... Avis complet
Given its Central Pennsylvania location, the snow conditions are superb! Tussey Mountain is home to the best lift in the world, the iconic T-bar! Also, they offer awesome go carting and mini golf in the off season! All in all, Tussey Mountain is the best ski resort ever and everyone should experience its epicness!!!... Avis complet
Tussey is a small mountain offering great learn to ski programs in a safe and secure environment. It fulfills this mission well in a family friendly way. You can enjoy the slopes for a while if you are a better skier, but this is not an expert's destination resort and it is not fair to compare Tussey to larger resorts in the northeast or the west. The cost is also much more reasonable than resorts like Vail (a great place to learn before you go). ... Avis complet
To me Tussey represents what skiing is all about. This small quirky "mountain" located a stones throw from the great college town of State College, PA makes you appreciate the little things that make skiing great. I can honestly say I have never had a bad time here. Sure its small, icy, and only has one legitimate lift, but it is a great value! I mean $5 Fridays?? Come on! That's pretty awesome. It has a gnarly atmosphere too! The super friendly staff are always playing rad music every night of the week and if the screams of drunk college kids barreling down the snowtube park aren't enough to make you laugh, the constant crashes from the massive amount of people learning to ski for the first time sure will. Tussey is not the kind of place you spend a weekend at, it is a place you go for a few hours at night for next to no money to get a few turns in, knock back a few beers share many many laughs and make fond memories. Truly Pennsylvania skiing at its finest!... Avis complet

I went to Tussey Mountain to go skiing today for the first time while on a business trip. Had two 1 hour lessons with the instructor Blake. He was a great teacher and I learned a lot. Definitely would recomend Tussey. Good prices also.... Avis complet
Not sure what previous negative reviewers expect, but Tussey Mountain excels with what it has. This is a small mountain with friendly employees. Only 1 main chairlift, but there are never extremely long lines. You can quickly park your car and get on the lifts for some runs, and all at reasonable prices (check out their specials). This isn't a place where you will vacation at, but if you are in the area, it beats driving hours to pay hundreds of dollars and wait in lines. ... Avis complet
Before coming to tussey please consider the following.
If your planning on making a weekend trip to tussey hopefully by now you have a trail map, and by looking at the trail map you may be saying, "hmmmm looks like a decent place to go". Please listen to this and it could save you your weekend.
1. First of all there is no such thing as the little bear tow, It's buried under about a foot of dirt
2.The tussey T-bar has been opened up twice to the public in the past five years
3. If the winters good, Shamokin will likely be opened up for two days
4. Same goes for lions way, only it can be opened up for SEVEN days!
5. The quad goes at a high speed of 5mph, and if it's crowded, stops about 3 times during the whole 15 minute ride
6. An advanced skier/snowboarder can get down the mountain in 10 seconds
Alright I think I'm bashing a little too much on my home mountain, but those are the facts. There are a few bright spots such as Snowmaking, and Instructors. It's a GOOD place to learn to ski, not a good place to excel at it.
All in all, if you live over a hour away don't consider it... Avis complet
I love Tussey Mountain. Though I grew up in New England and was spoiled in comparison I have always thought Tussey was a great little mountain. While I was a student at Penn State I would come early on Fridays (around 12) and have the slopes to myself. When there is snow, this place is great. Not a ton of trails but you never know what to expect. Have had some great powder days here. There is usually some sort of terrain park here. The bar is small but is a great place to grab a few apres ski drinks and I could never get enough of the chicken fries. ... Avis complet
